DEVELOPMENT TREATMENT
Beneath the region are ancient buried artifacts known only through broken local legend as the First Locks — placed across the land to keep an unknown presence separated from itself. For generations, the locks held the presence apart, creating a silent boundary no one else could see. But the pieces were never dead. Over time, their buried energy began reaching toward each other like a living organism. When the final connection forms, the land releases a fear-reactive airborne substance — the first breath of the presence becoming whole again.
